​At our Encore Music we recognise the value of sharing ideas and experiences to enrich our teaching. Encore Music tutors come from a range of backgrounds and have a variety of musical, teaching and coaching qualifications. They share a love of music, a passion for teaching and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality piano lessons to every student.

All Encore Music Tutors receive full administrative support (from timetabling to billing), curriculum guidance, exam preparation assistance and ongoing coaching and problem solving. One-to-one mentoring takes the form of student reviews and planning our piano lessons. Principal, Rob Foster helps to bring alternative, tried and tested, creative solutions to musical challenges. Tutor workshops throughout the year, allow us to work as a team, exploring innovative methods and teaching strategies, discovering new music and continually develop our professional skills.

All tutors hold current public liability insurance certificates, have up to date DBS checks and are members of a professional body (such as Musician's Union, Incorporated Society of Musicians or European Piano Teachers' Association).

Rob Foster is the Director of Encore Music. He has an extensive background of teaching the piano to Students of all ages and abilities. Rob draws on this experience to ensure that learning the piano is a rounded experience with musicianship and musicality at the heart.
Rob’s goal is to teach in a way that instills a love of music and performing that his students will keep for life. Every pianist is different, therefore Rob teaches in an adaptable way as to bring out the enthusiasm and motivation for each individual, enabling them to find and express their own unique talents on the piano.
n addition to his teaching responsibilities, Rob also provides ongoing coaching and mentoring for the Associate Tutors including regular piano lesson observations, curriculum and repertoire advice, exam planning and creative problem solving.

Gabriel is passionate about the unique relationship each student has to their instrument and firmly believes that a passion for music and the piano is something that is accessible to anyone. Having offered teaching to people of all ages and backgrounds since 2016, of both advanced and novice standards, Gabriel has tailored a personable and flexible teaching style that nurtures and ignites potential.

Gabriel is an experienced pianist and composer. Having graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a first in his Master’s degree, he has enjoyed performances of his music across Europe.

Becks is an accomplished pianist, singer and violinist who inspires musical curiosity and encourages her students to share in her passion for the piano. Drawing on her experiences as a performer, Becks helps each student to find their own musical voice through a variety of repertoire and genres. Her teaching style emphasises learning through play and creativity.
Becks believes learning the piano is a powerful tool for developing confidence and
self-expression.

Liz Giannopoulos founded Encore Music Tuition Ltd in 2009. Liz was the Director until 2024, when she moved to Horsham to take on a new challenge with Rubato Music. Liz continues to teach remote group theory Lessons for Encore. She is a highly qualified music tutor with a wealth of experience and a passion for both teaching and learning.
Liz is committed to developing musical skills, enabling pupils to become independent musicians. She tailors piano lessons to the preferred learning styles of each student, responding to diversity with adaptability. Liz is creative, inspirational, self motivated and reliable. Her students have a 100% pass rate history, ABRSM, Prep Test to Grade 8.
Liz continues to offer her experience and wisdom to Encore music to ensure its continued success.
